Golf CoursesCourses on site: Le Chateaux & Le Riou The Four Seasons Resort lies at the heart of two Dave Thomas designed 18-hole championship golf courses providing some of the best year round play. Le Chateaux, the original course and possibly the more difficult was joined in September 2004 by the shorter course, Le Riou. Both courses wind through pine and oak-clad hills and valleys, proving golfers with sweeping views of the villages and the Southern Alps. Le Chateaux: 18 holes 7088 yards Par 72 Le Riou: 18 holes 6567 yards Par 72
Courses nearby: Barbaroux, Sainte Baume, Valcros, Sainte Maxime.
AccommodationSet in intimate buildings, the Resort's generously sized suites and villas show their Provencal spirit with natural wood and stone finishes and a palette inspired by sunshine and flowers. All offer separate living rooms and bedrooms with contemporary, comfortable furnishings, and a tranquil view from a private terrace. Well-defined work areas support productivity with up-to-the-minute technology for communication, including high-speed Internet access. Extra-spacious bathrooms incorporate Four Seasons signature features such as deep soaking tub, separate glass-enclosed shower, large double vanity and, in a separate alcove, WC with telephone. Provencal tiles add charm and, in many, daylight flows through a large picture window. FacilitiesFrom its hilltop vantage point, Restaurant Faventia features contemporary Mediterranean cuisine with Provençal influences, and sweeping views over the villages of Callian and Montauroux. The warm interior design draws widely from local influences, resulting in an ambience that is simultaneously traditional and modern. Local stonework walls are an elegant backdrop to sculpture and artwork, while wood floors and sycamore tables provide a contemporary twist on the natural elements of Provence. Guests may dine indoors or alfresco, on a shaded terrace. An intriguing wine list focuses on fine local Provençal vintages and acclaimed international labels. The magnificent new Spa has opened its doors this summer. A true “journey of the senses” the Spa combines both relaxing and energizing experiences using legendary Provençal and Mediterranean ingredients. Spa services are available to guests 18 years and older. The fitness facilities at the resort offer a variety of cardiovascular machines and free weights, and are available to guests 16 years and older. Located adjacent to the golf driving range are two floodlit tennis courts, available for complimentary use by guests. Racquets and balls are provided. From May to September, the tennis program is managed by the Hotel's bilingual resident tennis pro. A David Leadbetter golf academy offers instruction and private lessons, while a covered driving range and the luxurious Golf Clubhouse round off the Four Seasons golf experience.
