Lake Garda
Lake Garda is the largest of the Italian lakes, and stretches almost 30 miles between the Alps and the Dolomites, embracing a diverse scenery, ranging from placid low-lying countryside on the south rising to the north with perpendicular cliffs draped in pine forest. We feature the southernmost tip with its milder climate, Sirmione is superbly located to Verona only 30 minutes away and to the east, Venice a further 90 minutes.
