I am very fortunate to have travelled most of the world playing some of the best golf courses, from links, Parkland, Heathland, Desert and even had a round of ice golf in Greenland, that was an experience.
However my favourites and in no particular order are Leopards Creek & Royal Zoute in South Africa, TPC Sawgrass & Seminole in Florida, Turberry Ailsa & Royal Durnoch in Scotland, Pinehurst & Ocean at Kaiwah Island in South Carolina, Ballybunnion & Royal County Down in Ireland, Valderrama in Spain and Casa do Campo in the Dominican Republic.
I am not surprised they have all voted in the worlds top 100 courses by Golf Digest in 2009 and for me to choose one from them would be disrespectful to the others as they are fantastic courses that every golfer who has the opportunity should try and play.
