Overview
Holidaymakers wishing to combine a safari experience with a round or two of golf should look no further than the unique Legend Golf & Safari Lodge, located in Highveld north within the Entabeni Safari Conservancy. The resort consists of an exceptional and unique 18 hole Signature Golf Course (6534 metres, Par 72), a luxury estate and many other facilities, situated on a Big 5 Game Reserve in the heart of the Africa bush.
The rooms and suites are built in the bush there are no fences or gardens within the resort grounds, guest accommodation is linked by wooden walkways and are elegantly, traditionally furnished and well appointed, with separate living area and large windows to allow for the perfect view, which can also be enjoyed from the secluded outdoor patio. Breakfast and light lunch is served in the Signature Clubhouse, with lunch also available at the Tribute Clubhouse, whilst table d’hôte dining is on offer for dinner at Lookout Restaurant. Meals are also served (seasonally) at exclusive locations around the lodge.
In between game drives and games of golf, guests can choose to relax poolside, amongst the tropical gardens or a spot of indulgence with a treatment or two in the Legend Health Spa. Children are well looked after at the supervised Little Legends Program learning about animals and nature, and having fun at the playground or mini-golf.
Golf is enjoyed on a unique course, designed by 18 of the world’s greatest golfers, the fairways wind through open grasslands and dense bush and are in complete harmony with the natural resources. The course also including the Par 3 Extreme 19th (361 metres) involving a helicopter trip to tee off 400meters above the hole! There is also a driving range and pro-shop.
