Overview
Located in Playa de Santiago in the South of the island of La Gomera lies Hotel Jardin Tecina, an area with spectacular views over the Atlantic Ocean, coast of Tenerife and Mount Teide. Peace, serenity and harmony are some of the sensations that you will experience in this safe unknown area of the Canary Islands.
Hotel Jardin Tecina is built on a hillside, designed in true Canarian style and surrounded by paths bordered with beautiful gardens with colourful flora and fauna. The recently refurbished rooms and suites are made up of traditional bungalows which are situated on two levels in small clusters around the resort, each with a ‘signposted street’ leading to it. Recently refurbished the Gara Restaurant, which offers buffet service for breakfast, now in the evening offers an new Canarian concept with cuisine and wine from all the islands. After or before dinner guest can chill out at the AMIDI terrace whilst watching the sunset or enjoying an evening show.
At Tecina Golf they have taken special care to preserve the natural beauty of the island. Golfers can see the ocean from every hole, which blends into a fantastic landscape that is a pleasure to the eye. The course is only five minutes walk from the hotel, was designed by Donald Steel and is an 18 holes par 71 course, which measures 6,250 meters from the white tees. The course is a perfect combination of factors - superb design, scenic landscape and a championship course, which hosted the European Challenge Tour ‘Fred Olsen Challenge de Espana’ from 2009-2016, which in 2013 was won by Brooks Koepka (USA) who became US Open 2017 winner.
