Situated in the Southern section of Kruger National Park, alongside the River Lwakahle, the Lukimbi Safari Lodge provides the perfect combination of Big Game Spotting, Relaxing Spa treatments, Golf and Fine Dining whilst also welcoming families in an intimate setting. Luxury accommodation is traditionally furnished and spacious with a living area, covered outside deck perfect for an early evening drink whilst enjoying the bush view, and all are fully equipped with modern amenities.
Wooden decking and raised walkways connect the buildings and lodges, ensuring the view is available to be seen at all times.Dining is enjoyed indoors or outdoors and in various and changeable settings within the lodge. Guests are invited to enjoy wine from the wine cellar and drinks in the bar or Boma (meeting Place). When guests are not on a game drive or daily walk, they are welcome to relax around the various pool areas, enjoy a workout in the well-equipped gym complete with river view, as well as spa treatments available on request. There is also a library and computer station, a shop selling local artifacts and crafts and regular ranger talks and displays. Children are well looked after at the supervised Safari Play room where activities include bushwalks, casting tracks and interactive sessions with the rangers.
Golfers are invited to play at the nearby prestigious Leopard Creek Country Club (6632 metres Par 72), designed by Gary Player and located approximately 45 minutes drive away. This is one of South Africa’s best known golf courses and only guests from a few selected establishments can play there. The course is host to the European Tours, Alfred Dunhill Championship.
