Golf Breaks in Lisbon
Lisbon in Portugal is the ideal dstination for golf breaks offering superb and less crowded golf courses for a quieter golf holiday than its southern Algarve rival.
From Penha Longa and the new Arthur Hills designed Oitavos course West Coast to the excellent and challenging courses of Quinta da Peru and Aroeira 1 in the South. Now the North of Lisbon boasts two magnificent golf courses, the Praia del Rey a links type course and the excellent Quinta do Brincal. The town of Estoril offers miles of picturesque coastline, beautiful gardens and glamorous casino nights. Cascais a former sleepy fishing village is now a lively holiday town, with cobbled streets and a varie ty of fish restaurants and shops. Sesimbra in the south is a small fishing port in an unspoilt area of the Costa Azul. It provides a combination of good golf, scenic views, superb beach and excellent quayside restaurants (fish being the speciali ty).
